Texas Scramble

Frday night saw a foolhardy bunch of 4 men and 4 women bravely venture down to the Hope course once, after a day of rain, it was confirmed that the course was playable only to be greeted by misty breezy conditions. Never the less teams were drawn and groups made for the Texas scramble and off we went into the gloom.
By the time we finished the evening had improved dramatically and the golf had deteriorated rapidly, or maybe that was just mine!.
Overall a great evening of fun golf was had and the scores couldn’t have been much closer.
In 4th on 44 were Keith Nicol and Violet Ward. 3rd on 43 were Duncan Swannie and Lynda Birss. We then had 2 teams on 42 and on count-back 2nd place went to Geoff Linnitt and Liz Pirie with the winners being Derek Ward and Jaqueline Rosie.
