The Winter and Stableford league scores have been updated and the good weather encouraged a big turnout for both days. On Saturday 18 players competed for the winter league, Ross McQullian carded a winning score of 31 net also cutting his handicap by 3, Kenny Scott was 2nd with 32 and a 2 stroke cut while Stuart Drever was 3rd with a net 33 and one stroke cut. Today(Sunday) saw 17 players take part in the Stableford with Stuart Drever winning with a 24 points slashing his handicap from 11 down to 5, 2nd was Derek Ward with 20 points and also a 2 stroke cup to his handicap and Brian Kirkness was 3rd with 19 points and a 1 stroke handicap cut.
It was also good to see the first Ladies taking part in both competitions. Well done and lets hope the numbers flourish.
