Update

Hi folks

Well what can I say…. Sorry for the lack of info on this site this last few months but there has been very little to shout about.

This winter, once again, has been a disaster for SRGC, along with other clubs I might add, with some terrible conditions causing the committee and the greens convener to close the course to all play on numerous occasions and that has resulted in some long term closures. 

But we are now in 2016 and the AGM is almost upon us and after that a new summer season will be just around the corner. I hope!

So what has SRGC got planned so far? – 

Well there is a Quiz at the Murrays on the 26th of FEB

The Duck race will be held on the 26th of March 

We have the Roving pro coaching sessions coming back again this summer and Alan Martin will also be holding individual sessions when at the club. 

We will have our, now established, 4 Opens – The seniors, Ladies, Pipedream and of course the SRGC open.

A full fixture list will be finalised soon and will be posted on here and at the club etc.

So I look forward to seeing you all at some or all of the above.

Lets hope this weather will abate and a good summer will come forth giving us the golfing conditions we crave for.
