Matchplay Singles

On a sunny but very windy Wednesday afternoon Bill Banks and Erik Donaldson played out the final of the singles competition. Bill got off to a poor start in the opening holes and was 4 down after 5 holes.Sticking to his his task Bill pulled back 2 holes by the turn and it was all to play for , but a ball out of bounds over the back of the 12th restored Erik’s lead to 3 up and he was able to close out the match at the 16th where Bill had no shot. Making the final score 3 & 2.
