Ladies Pipedream Open

It was good to see a reasonable turnout for the Ladies’ Pipedream Open on Sunday 12th June.  The winds were certainly strong and added an element of crazy golf to the mix, aswell as making the Specials special! In the Nett Competition the winner was Angie Ross with a good score of nett 71; Linda Milne was 2nd with a nett 72 and Violet Ward 3rd with nett 74.  The Gross Competition was won by Nicola Sutherland with 81, with Kathleen Sutherland 2nd on 87 and Shona Slater 3rd with 89. Nicola also scooped two more prizes, being nearest the pin in one on the 15th (usually a very accessible hole but only two made it onto the green!) and posting the only Two. The winner of the longest drive was Kathleen Sutherland.  Many thanks to Andy of Pipedream Plumbing for his generous support and to Derek Ward and the team for all their hard work on the course.
