Ladies “Gin” Medal sponsored by Deerness Gin

Violet Ward was apparently determined to make hers a triple, winning her third bottle of gin (‘Vara’ this time) at the Ladies Deerness Distillery Gin Medal on Tuesday 7th June.  This was despite playing during a progressively chilly evening’s golf on Tues 7th June when the majority of the field had gone out in relative warmth earlier.  Her steady round gave her a score of 71 nett which was well ahead of the rest of the field, with Kay Mowat coming 2nd on 77 and Liz Pirie 3rd on 79.  Thank you to Deerness Gin for their support and adding the now even bigger extra incentive to the other competitors.
