Donaldsons of Orkney Senior Ladies Open

On Sunday 7th July 16 women took to the Hope golf course for the Donaldsons of Orkney ladies senior open. With a shotgun start at 1pm, the weather had dried up, but there was still a strong wind, making the course even more challenging than usual. Nearest the pin on the 15th went to Linda Bonner with a distance of 409cm.Congratulations to Lynn Shearer who had two holes in two, one each on hole 6 and 14The winner of the Donaldsons Trophy was Linda Bonner with a nett 70, second nett with 74 was Maggie Learmonth and third place with 75 on countback was Barbara Copland. The local nett winner was Lynn Shearer with 76First gross went to Shona Croy with an 85.
